Stallholder

Stallholder

Dear Stallholder,

ARRIVAL AND SETTING UP:
You should arrive to set up your stall from 7:00a.m. onwards on Saturday, May 11 2024. Don't use Sat Nav to get to your location – we've created convenient routes to try and avoid congestion in the town's narrow streets! If you have your own unit and would like to partially install it on the Friday night, please feel free to do so – we have security guards on duty all night. But we kindly ask you to let us know in advance. If you have booked a Festival Stand, a counter is part of the stall. If you prefer not to have a counter, let us know in advance.

EVERYONE:
A festival steward will direct you to the location of your stall/space and give you a parking ticket for one vehicle. You may not keep a vehicle at your stand/unit: Your vehicles MUST be parked at the designated area before 9am. Pay and display car parks are available for any additional vehicles you may have. We expect the stands to be ready to trade by 10.00. You must show your Food Hygiene Rating Scheme sticker, and allergen list, on your stand – if applicable.

LOCATION PARKING WITH FESTIVAL PARKING TICKET:
Please note that you are parking at your own risk.

LARGE VEHOCLES/TALL VANS (2M + HIGH):
Thanks to Scottish Power you can get free parking at their site on St Helen's Road LL55 2YD.

SMALL CARD/VANS:
Gwynedd Council staff multi-storey car park, Balaclava Road, LL55 1SQ. We're urging you to use these car parks, to free up rare parking spaces in town – and they're free! Stewards will be at both locations from 6:30 am.

PACKING UP AND LEAVING:
Many town streets will be closed between 8 am and 6 pm. You can start packing up any time after 5 pm but it will not be possible to bring a vehicle to your stand until the security marshalls allow you to move.

WATER:
We provide a drinkable water supply for you. Ask a festival steward where the nearest one is. No one is allowed to empty foul water down road drains.

WASTE / ENVIRONMENT:
You are responsible for clearing any debris from your unit at the end of the day. Recycling bins and additional food bins are provided by Gwynedd Council for public use only. The Festival has a plastic use reduction policy and we ask that you respect that. Bars that have ordered multi-use plastic glasses from us will receive them in the morning and we will collect the remaining ones at the end of the day.

INFORMATION:
Stewards in high-vis jackets will be available throughout the day in charge of the stalls and events. The Festival Office will be in Pendeitsh where members of the organising committee will be happy to answer questions. Looking forward to seeing you at the Festival and let’s hope for favourable weather and many visitors! It would be great if you could take any opportunity to advertise your attendance at Caernarfon Food Festival e.g. on Twitter, Facebook and amongst your acquaintances.
