Information for Stallholders

You should arrive to set up your stall from 7:00a.m. onwards on Saturday, May 13 2023. We ask you kindly not to use your Sat Nav to reach your location – we’ve created convenient routes to try and prevent traffic jams in the town’s narrow streets!

If you would like to set up your stall on the Friday evening, you’re welcome to do so – we have security officers on duty all night. But we ask you kindly to let us know in advance.
If you have booked a Festival Stall, a counter is included with it. If you’d rather not have a counter, please let us know in advance.

A festival steward will then direct you to the location of your stall/space and give you a parking ticket for one vehicle. You may not keep a vehicle at your stall/unit: Your vehicles MUST be parked at the designated area before 9am. Pay and display car parks are available for any additional vehicles you may have. We expect the stalls to be then ready for trading by 10.00. You must show your Food Hygiene Rating Scheme sticker, and allergen list, on your stall – if applicable.

Please note that you park at your own risk.

Large vehicles/tall vans (2m + high): Thanks to Scottish Power you can get free parking at their site on St Helen's Road, LL55 2YD.
Small cars/vans: Gwynedd Council staff multi-storey car park, Balaclava Road, LL55 1SQ. We're urging you to use these car parks, to free up limited parking spaces in town – and they're free! Stewards will be at both locations from 6:30 am.

Dismantling and departure: Many town streets will be closed between 8 am and 6 pm. You can start packing up any time after 5 pm but vehicles cannot be brought to your stall until the security officers allow you to move.

We provide a drinkable water supply for you in the identified places.
No one is allowed to empty dirty water down road drains.

It is your responsibility to remove any rubbish from your unit at the end of the day. Recycling bins and additional food bins are provided by Gwynedd Council for the public only. The Festival has a policy to reduce the use of plastic, and we ask you to respect that. Bars that have ordered multi-use plastic glasses from us will receive them in the morning and we will collect the remaining ones at the end of the day.

Stewards in high-vis jackets will be on hand throughout the day to supervise stalls and events. The Festival Office will be in Pendeitsh where members of the organising committee will be happy to answer questions. Looking forward to seeing you at the Festival and I hope we get favourable weather and many visitors! We would be grateful if you could seize any opportunity to advertise your presence at Caernarfon Food Festival e.g. on Twitter, Facebook and amongst your acquaintances.
