Gŵyl Fwyd Caernarfon Food Festival Christmas Fair

On Saturday, 9th December 2017, the Gŵyl Fwyd Caernarfon Food Festival group brought the Christmas Narnia-like spirit to Palace Street by holding a Christmas Fair at the Market Hall.

The fair hosted a variety of stalls promoting great local artisan and crafts produce, from Model Bakery, Ffestiniog’s heavenly artisan bread and the Mushroom Garden’s wonderful mushrooms, to Katy Mai’s unique ceramic gifts and Inc Pinc’s crafts to present them on Christmas day!

We even had the local Slimming World, Caernarfon branch demonstrating how to control the extra Christmas weight in January without having to give up on your favourite foods!

The group were also busy organising the raffle and selling our aprons and recipe book. The fair was bursting with people all day and by 4pm there were happy stallholders, satisfied attendees full of food and drink and £1060 towards Gŵyl Fwyd Caernarfon Food Festival 2018!

Additionally, we received positive feedback on social media platforms as well as reports of local Palace Street businesses benefiting from the quantities attracted to the Fair.
