Cooking Competition for Children and Young People

Do you like spending time in the kitchen and fancy winning £100 worth of cookware and a £50 hamper of Welsh produce? If so, we have a challenge for you or any young cook you know!

There are two age categories, primary and secondary. We present to you.... the Caernarfon Food Festival and Hybu Cig Cymru Gimmie 5 competition!

The challenge is simple:

1. Cook a recipe of your choice using Welsh Lamb or Beef.

2. Use up to five other ingredients in the recipe.

3. Then post a picture of the finished plate and a brief description of the recipe on the Caernarfon Food Festival Facebook page or by following the link here giving your name and if you are in primary or secondary school. The closing date is 16 November and we will announce the winner on 23 November. Ready Steady Cook!

The prize are all these cooking equipment worth over £100, as well as a hamper worth £50 of Welsh goods!
