DEC 15, 2016 - CATRINSIRIOL
Caernarfon Food Festival organisers would like to thank spectators of Caernarfon Fireworks on Saturday, November 5th who helped raise money for 2017’s Food Festival by buying food and drink from the van. Organised by Caernarfon Lions on behalf of the Town Council, there was a fantastic display of fireworks over the Menai strait that drew hundreds of spectators to the Promenade, despite the cold weather. The Caernarfon Food Festival crew would like to thank Arwlyo Hafan and to local family butchers OG Owen & Son and Dafydd Wyn Jones a’i Fab, Blas yr Allt, Carlton Bakery and Morrisons Caernarfon for contributing their produce for the evening. Their generosity means that all the profits from the evening will go towards the 2017 Food Festival, held on May 13th, 2017. To make sure the festival is free for everyone, a series of fundraising events will take place over the next six months including a wine tasting evening and a gala dinner. Keep an eye on the website for more information about these events. Back to the news page. |
