AND WE’RE OFF 2019!

The fundraising for Gŵyl Fwyd Caernarfon 2019 has kicked off! Once again, on this year’s bonfire night, we set out to raise funds by providing refreshments for the lively (cold!) watchers who flocked to see the fabulous firework display organised annually by the Lions over the Aber Bridge. We were delighted to be able to offer some goodies to warm up in the cold weather and take the little ones’ minds off their shivering!
Ifan was busy (yet again!) preparing hot dogs and soup whilst the rest of the group served them and prepared tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We loved being a part of this lovely event again this year – an event that brings everyone together to enjoy the amazement of the display. And more so, we love being able to take such a wonderful opportunity to raise funds so that we can give it back to the community via our next festival. A smashing £571 was raised towards Gŵyl Fwyd Caernarfon 2019!
A huge thanks to GISDA, O.G.Owen and Son, Cartlon’s Bakery, DJ Fruits, R&I, Harlech Food Service, Tesco & Morrisons for sponsoring the evening, and to the Lions for being prepared to share the evening with us once again. And of course, thank you to each one of you who contributed to the buckets or bought from us! On to our next event then – our Christmas market at Copa, on the Maes, on Saturday the 8th of December, 10 til 4!
