Think green when you travel – If you’re local, walk over if you can. Coming from farther away? Choose public transport, cycle, or share a ride to help keep the festival sustainable.
Bring a camping chair with you if you wish to have a little sit down during the day.
Remember to bring cash. It’s possible that the ATMs in the town could run out of money on the day of the festival, and the queues are often long.
Prepare according to the weather. If it's warm, bring plenty of sunscreen and water.
Stay hydrated – For the first time ever, you’ll find water refill points around the festival grounds. Bring your reusable bottles and top up throughout the day, especially if the weather’s warm!
Need help? – New this year, information points will be dotted around town. Whether you need a map, directions, or assistance, they’re there to help.
Drink responsibly – This is a community and family-friendly festival, so let’s all do our part to keep it safe and enjoyable for everyone.
If you attended Gŵyl Fwyd Caernarfon in 2024, remember to bring the reusable cup with you.
Remember, the festival is run entirely by volunteers and entry is free!
